Climate, Ministry of the Environment extends consultation on National Plan
Deadline to submit feedback postponed to October 31
The Ministry of the Environment has extended to October 31 the consultation on the National Plan of Climate Change Adjustment (NPCCA), whose original closing date was October 15.
Thus there is time until the end of the month to submit feedback on the document elaborated with technical and scientific support of the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (EMCCC) which, as Minister Galletti underlined when launching the consultation in August, “is coherently reflected in other relevant strategies: from the NES to the Sustainable Development Strategy, from the Circula Economy Strategy to the Climate and Energy Plan.”
The Plan, explains the Ministry, constitutes an updated framework of the current future climate scenarios, determining possible adjustment actions and the relevant instruments of monitoring and efficiency evaluation.
The document analyzes the impacts and the land vulnerabilities indicating areas and sectors at increased risk.
