Waste collection, Pordenone to rely on methane

A tender for 41 vehicles. Meanwhile, AMT Genova creates a supplier list for buses running on CNG

20180207_3.jpgThe Ambiente Servizi company in San Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone) has floated a tender for more than €8 million for the purchase of 41 waste collection vehicles running on methane. The relevant notice, which was published on Tuesday on the EU Official Journal, is divided into 3 lots that include 13 three-axle waste compactors (for an estimated value of €2.9 million excluding VAT), 22 two-axle mini-compactors (€4 million) and 16 two-axle compactors (€1.1 million).
Azienda Mobilità e Trasporti (AMT) Genova also aims at methane. The company published earlier today a notice on the EU Official Journal aimed at creating a system to identify the economic operators that meet specific requirements allowing them to participate in company-launched tenders for the provision of buses of different types and categories. These include category A, B and C buses running on methane.
