A new rule for automatic cut-off devices

20180209_3.jpg“Automatic cut-off devices driven by seismic stimulations” is the title of a draft rule (UNI 1603832) proposed by the Italian Gas Committee (CIG) of the standardisation body in order to establish functional requirements and acceptance testing of automatic cut-off devices driven by seismic stimulations.
A note explains that the future law, which will be undergoing preliminary public investigation until 21 February, will serve as a reference for designers and users as regards characterisation and selection of devices to be installed on category I, II and III combustible gas transport and distribution infrastructures, as defined in the UNI EN 437 regulation.
