Biomethane, “incentive policy extremely important”
Lombardy’s Councilor Cattaneo: “Resources and efficient rules are necessary”
The Region of Lombardy aims at biomethane. “It is extremely important to have an incentive policy and rues favoring and allowing for the conversion of the existing plants into the facilities producing biomethane,” underlined Lombardy’s Councilor for Environment and Climate, Raffaele Cattaneo, when speaking at the conference “From Waste to Biomethane,” organized by Energy Cluster Lombardia, the Region of Lombardy and RSE.
“The expansion of biomethane needs a series of incentives and efficient rules so that it could establish itself among the most widely used new energy sources,” concluded Cattaneo.
