Ecomondo, at the green economy fair focus on circular economy
Biomethane one of the key topics of the event taking place in Rimini until November
It will be Minister of the Environment, Sergio Costa, that will open the Fair of Rimini Ecomondo, the main Italian expo of green economy. Until Friday, November 9 the pavilions of Rimini will host the cutting edge solutions offered by the market of circular economy and renewable energy. At the same time also the 12th edition of Key Energy will take place. It will be dedicated to energy and efficiency as well as he Common Assembly on Green Economy.
Biomethane will play the central role at Ecomondo. The Italian Biogas Consortium (Consorzio Italiano Biogas, CIB) is also present at the fair along with around 70 other associated companies and in the forum area, CIB organizes about ten workshops and meetings.
“The growth in the agricultural biomethane sector in Italy could certainly become a yet another driving force for the effort made by the entire industry, which has generated added value, investments and jobs throughout the years,” declared President of CIB, Piero Gattoni, reminding that the main event of Ecomondo and Keyenergy is scheduled for November 8: CIB, along with the Italian Consortium of Composters (Consorzio Italiano Compostatori, CIC), presents the conference of the National Technological Platform (Bio)Methane, established precisely at the Ecomondo of 2016 to unite industry, transportation, agricultural sector, utilities and environmental associations.
