ETS, 436.2 m CERs exchanged

Since the international credit system was launched in 2014

As at October 31, 2018, the total of international credits exchanged in the framework of the European emission trading reached 436.2 M, which was 2.1 M more compared to the data that the EU Commission for Climate published in May this year.
The recent statement of the EU's executive branch, published on Tuesday, specifies that sine the system was launched in March 2014, a total of 50.93 million CERs (Certified Emission Reduction) has been exchanged within the second period of the Kyoto Protocol.
Of the largest issuers of CERs China is ranked first.
