LNG for road transportation, the 32nd Italian refueling station opens

The second plant of B-Petrol in the Province of Verona

Slightly less than a year after the plant of Villafranca di Verona became operational, last Saturday B-Petrol opened, along with the dealer Iveco Officine Brennero, its second LNG filling station in the Province of Verona, which is the 32nd liquefied gas station in Italy.
With the new facility, located at the provincial section from Arcole to San Bonifacio, 1.5 km away from the A4 highway exit of Soave/San Bonifacio, B-Petrol will be one of the first private oil companies in Italy to have two stations in service distributing LNG, underlines a message.
Iveco attended the opening with its LNG-fueled Stralis NP 460, which recently was elected “ Sustainable Truck of the Year 2019” for its“being sustainable both economically and environmentally,” reminds the message, specifying that the vehicle’s emissions are lower than the Euro 6 standard by 99% for particulate matter and 90% for NO2, whereas in the biomethane-powered version CO2 emissions are reduced by 95%.
