Methane-fueled cars, increasing number of registrations in 2018

In 2018 there was an increase in registrations of methane-fueled cars. What is more, in the year that just ended 37,438 CNG vehicles were sold, vs. 32,761 of 2017. As a result, their market share grew by 0.3 percentage points.
The most widely sold methane-fueled car in Italy is VW Golf (7,370 items), preceding VW Polo (5,888) and Fiat Panda (4,952). Another vehicles from Wolfsburg, UP is ranked fourth (4,022), followed by Fiat Punto (2,345), Skoda Octavia (2,295), Seat Ibiza (1,699) and Fiat Qubo (1,608). The top ten close Opel Astra (1,168) and Seat Leon (1,014).
