Studiomapp wins a competition of the U.S. Department of Defense
To elaborate satellite data by means of artificial intelligence to deal with emergencies such as natural calamities, including however applications in the field of smart city, mobility, management of natural resources and climate change adjustment. These are the opportunities offered by an algorithm of Studiomapp, an Italian start-up awarded in a competition launched by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The company was “incubated” in the Active Space of Lazio Innova Rome Technopolis and it promotes the combined use of AI, geo-calculation and geospatial data. Moreover, the start-up is one of the founders of the European Network Copernicus Academy, which is involved, among others, also in the satellite analysis for infrastructure monitoring.
