Horizon 2020, call for efficiency worth €112 m

Funding for projects for industry, PA, construction and consumers

scale.jpgOn Tuesday the European Commission opened the 2019 call for proposals for energy efficiency under the research and innovation programme Horizon 2020. The overall funds of 112 million euros are destined to research and development of the most efficient technologies and solutions as well as actions for the removal of market barriers.
The 2019 call for proposals includes projects in the sector of construction (innovative approach to upgrades, smart systems, latest generation evaluations and certifications, bioclimatic approach), industry (heat/cold recovery, support to energy performance audit), finance (innovative investments. Assistance and aggregation), public authorities and public support (social and economic research, support to the PA in delivery of the Energy Union targets), consumers and services (role of the end client in the market change, mitigation of energy poverty, innovative smart energy services).
The projects must be submitted by September 3, 2019.
