MEDENER, Giorgio Graditi (Enea) new President

To take over from Dario Chello as chair of the association of the Mediterranean countries’ agencies dealing with efficiency and RES

Giorgio Graditi was elected President of MEDENER for the two-year period of 2019-2020.
A message explains that the decision was made by unanimous voting of the General Assembly of the association which unites the agencies based in the Mediterranean countries which operate in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
Graditi, 50 years old, Head of the “Solar thermal, thermodynamic and Smart Networks” Division at Enea, will take over from Dario Chello, Head of Enea’s Unit “EU and International Bodies,” who led the association in the past two years.
A message reminds that MEDENER is one of the three platforms created under the Union for the Mediterranean to reinforce the Euro-Mediterranean energy cooperation.
“Interconnection and structured coordination of activities among three UPM platforms are key actions to strengthen the global energy policy in the Mediterranean Region and favor the assertion of an eco-sustainable energy model,” commented the newly elected President of MEDENER.
