Oscar di Bilancio 2014

Milan, 1st December 2014 – Snam has been awarded the 2014 edition of the Oscar di Bilancio (Financial Report Award) in the category "Big listed companies". Promoted and managed by FERPI, the Italian Public Relations Association, the prize has been awarded by AIAF's President Paolo Balice and has been accepted by Snam Chairman Lorenzo Bini Smaghi and CEO Carlo Malacarne during an official ceremony held at Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock Exchange).

The Oscar di Bilancio, now in its 50th year, examines reporting submitted by the Companies that joined the award, with specific regard to the aspects related to communication, structure and usability of information by the stakeholders. The commissions and the jury, presieded by professor Andrea Sironi, Rector of Bocconi University in Milan, awarded 9 different categories.

Snam’s Financial Report, the jury wrote, " clearly exposes different sectors of activity, related risks and economic and financial reporting. Themes are well-defined, with attention to design and style. The Sustainability report is drawn following GRI-G4 guidelines. The Company manages to show its ability to create sustainable value, thanks to interesting insights about the quality of the service, environment, territories and employees".

The award further confirms the efficiency of Snam’s financial reporting model and of the several communication tools the Company provides its stakeholders with, such as the Annual Report and the Sustainability, Remuneration and Corporate Governance reports. These contents are made available also on the website and through cutting edge mobile apps, aiming at fulfilling rising expectations from the market and stakeholders in general.
