Snam speaks at OECD seminars on business integrity in Russia
Snam was the only European company invited by the OECD to participate in two seminars on business integrity and the fight against corruption organized in St. Petersburg, and Moscow, in collaboration with Deloitte, Siemens Integrity Initiative and the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
Snam General Counsel, Marco Reggiani, participated in roundtables focusing on internal company internal procedures aimed at identifying illicit corporate conduct and on the contribution of state-owned companies in developing the new OECD guidelines on corporate integrity.
Representatives of Transparency International Russia, OCSE and institutional investors’ representatives attended the two roundtables during which Reggiani illustrated Snam’s best practice in corruption prevention - including the Ethical and Integrity Pact with suppliers - and the company’s whistleblowing policy.
Snam is the only Italian private company participating in the OECD’s Anti-corruption Committee and one of five companies admitted to Transparency International’s Global Corporate Supporters Forum. This year, Snam was invited to participate in the activities of the task forces dedicated to integrity and compliance under the auspices of the Argentine G20 and B20 presidency.
