TESORI project kicks off

San Donato Milanese, 12 February 2018 – Today is live the first call for tenders for the "TESORI" - TErre SOlidali in Reti Inclusive (Solidal Territories in Inclusive Networks) – initiative , dedicated to social agriculture projects that foster innovation, inclusion and generate a positive impact on local communities. The initiative is promoted by the Snam Foundation with the technical partnership of Confagricoltura and Rete Fattorie Sociali.

Closing on the 12 April 2018, the first call is addressed to a wide range of subjects - from third sector organizations to innovative social start-ups (SIAVS) - and regards the valorisation of land owned by Snam in the Marche region. The winners are granted free land loan for ten years, cash funds and scholarships for the online Master in Social Agriculture organized by the University of Rome Tor Vergata. The winners will be selected among projects that focus on inclusion and sustainability, connecting them with innovation and experimentation, so that the territories could foster innovation and principles of circular economy, reuse and exploitation of waste, the search for increasingly efficient and respectful production and consumption models.

Documents and information for application are available on the page dedicated to the online platform. Through the web site, built as a digital hub, it is possible to read official documents and to receive updates about the next calls.

Snam Foundation and Confagricoltura signed a protocol of collaboration at the beginning of December 2017 for the promotion, development and implementation of social farming projects. The first tender of Tesori is encompassed in this framework. The agreement stems from a shared aim of fostering innovative and solidarity practices in vulnerable or public interest areas. The aim is linked with agriculture and with the protection and enhancement of the territory and the environment.
