Snam renews its partnership with Transparency International for the fight against corruption

Partnership Transparency International

Copenhagen, 23 October 2018 - Snam has renewed its collaboration with Transparency International, a non-governmental organization that has been tackling corruption at a global level since 1993.

The company signed a new two-year Memorandum of Understanding at Transparency International’s 18th International Anti-Corruption Conference in Copenhagen today with the Secretariat of Berlin, reiterating Snam’s zero tolerance policy towards corruption and its own best practice in transparency and business ethics, recognized worldwide. The MoU was signed by the General Counsel of Snam Marco Reggiani and the Managing Director of Transparency International Patricia Moreira. There are expected to be about 2,000 participants at the event from national and international organizations, which also coincides with the twenty-fifth anniversary of Transparency International’s foundation.

Snam is the only Italian company - and one of only four in the world - to be part of the Transparency Global Corporate Supporters Forum, which it joined in 2016.
