The meeting focused, amongst other things, on the progress of the Energy Union and on the active role Snam is playing in contributing to enhancing Europe’s security of supply, providing further liquidity to the European gas system and fostering cross-country interconnections.

Today Snam S.p.A. (rated BBB by S&P, Baa1 by Moody’s and BBB+ by Fitch) successfully launched a fixed rate note issue, maturity October 2020, for an amount of 500 million euro under its EMTN Programme (Euro Medium Term Notes) which was approved by the Board of Directors on 27 September 2016. The notes will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
