The Snam corporate website wins 2012 Interactive Media Award

San Donato Milanese (Milan), 3 December 2012 – Snam’s corporate website www.snam.it has been awarded the 2012 Interactive Media Award (IMA) in the Energy category. The accolade, awarded by the nonprofit organization Interactive Media Council, recognizes the world’s best websites within their respective categories, promoting standards of excellence across the Internet.

With an overall score of 477 out of 500, the IMA jury stated that Snam.it has been awarded the IMA because it “has excelled in all areas of the judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism�?.

Snam’s corporate website, designed in cooperation with Bitmama web agency and the NTT Data system integrator, features a brand new graphic layout and a highly versatile core structure, both of which have also been incorporated into the operating companies’ websites (Snam Rete Gas, Italgas, Stogit and Gnl Italia) with the aim of emphasizing and strengthening Snam’s group identity.

The common theme represents Snam’s core values today: integration, international development and investment, sustainability and technological innovation. The layout of the website has been divided into different sections, each centered around one of these values. The most important values, such as sustainability, have also been given a prominent position on the homepage.

Snam’s web identity and those of its operating companies were completely redesigned between the end of 2011 and the start of 2012 in order to provide greater accessibility for all the different stakeholders with whom the Company has an on-going and open dialogue.
