Energy and artificial intelligence, projects in Emilia Romagna

The Region to finance four initiatives Tenders worth €5.3 M

computer.jpgThe Region of Emilia Romagna has allocated 4 million euros to support four projects in Parma, Modena, Mirandola and Marina di Ravenna, under the measures supporting development of infrastructure for higher competitiveness and to the benefit of the area.
The projects, which will activate direct investments worth €5.3 m, regard artificial intelligence, clean maritime economy, a food incubator and a biomedical hub.
In further detail, €1.25 will go to a temporary special purpose association between the University of Bologna and the Municipality of Ravenna for a project on the environment, sea and energy. The aim is to expand and internationalize the Technology Park of Ravenna in the industrial research and the support to innovative companies.
A similar amount will go to the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia for the creation of an Industrial Research Center and Technology Transfer in the Technology Park of Modena dedicated to artificial intelligence and smart systems design.
