2,315 energy managers appointed in 2018
All professionals listed in a new book by FIRE
2,315 energy managers were appointed last year. These are the findings of the book “Energy Managers 2018” by the Italian Federation for the Rational use of Energy (Federazione Italiana per l'Uso Razionale dell'Rnergia, FIRE).
The book, explains a message, contains the names of the entities that are to appoint obligatorily and a professional in charge of conservation and rational use of energy which actually notified FIRE by the deadline set for April 30.
Based on the appointments, each year the federation draws up a report containing a data analysis which shows the trends and developments regarding the position of energy manager in respect of professional, market, legislative and social circumstances.
The 2018 report shows, as defined by FIRE, an “interesting” item of data, namely an increasing number of energy managers certified as energy management experts (EME). This aspect is “ particularly important where the expert is appointed as external consultant.”
