LNG, 61 refueling stations based in Italy

Federmetano: in 2019, 175% growth compared to 2018, 42 other facilities are planned

The number of LNG dispensers operating in our country reached 61. This was announced by Federmetano, which updated the list of stations by providing a detailed picture of the situation at the end of 2019.
The year that just ended showed an increase of 175% compared to 2018, when there were 35 stations on the Italian territory intended for the supply of liquefied gas. The map created by Federmetano also contains a differentiation between the refueling points located on the ordinary road network (58 dispensers) and on the highway network (three stations).
The federation specifies that the most recent openings are those of Aurelio Petroli (October 2 in Verona), Metano Toscana (November 23 in Lastra a Signa, Florence), Delta Energy (December 14 in Trento), Olivi (December 16 in Perugia). In the last few months in the province of Novara, other two new stations started operating: that of Ekomobil, in Vicolungo on October 19, and that of Capozi Autotrasporti, in Recetto at the beginning of December.
Finally, Federmetano announces that 42 LNG dispensers are “in the pipeline or close to opening.”
