Campania, plan to support investments in the energy sector

Facilities for companies operating in the “strategic” sectors, thanks to the contributions of the Region and the Rotating Fund of CDP

With the signing of the agreement by CDP (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Deposits and Loans Fund), ABI (Associazione Bancaria Italiana, Association of Italian Banks), the Campania Region and Sviluppo Campania (Campania Development), a new facility has been set up in order to support investments in production which will take advantage of the Rotating Fund for Enterprises (Fondo Rotativo per le Imprese, FRI). As a message explains, “the measure will mobilize investments of € 400 million and it is aimed at companies of all sizes investing in strategic sectors,” including energy and the environment. The total amount of eligible investments will be between 500,000 euros and 3 million euros.
The Region - declares Councilor for Production Activities Antonio Marchiello - “intends to encourage investments aimed at increasing the competitiveness of strategic supply chains, innovation, increasing production capacity, reducing the technological gap, enhancing the resources of the territory, as well as energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, also through the reduction of resource consumption.”
