Efficiency, 4 centers for audits and training on sustainable construction

Two entities in Italy (Puglia and Molise), the others in Albania and Montenegro. Enea is also part of the project

Conducting energy efficiency audits and training specialized personnel to promote the expansion of “low or zero energy” public buildings, thanks to the use of innovative technologies. This is the goal of the REEHUB (Regional Energy Efficiency HUB) project, under which four competence centers were opened in Brindisi (Puglia), Agnone (Molise), Tirana (Albania) and Podgorica (Montenegro). These entities will support the implementation of energy audits of public buildings “and for training/information to technicians, stakeholders and citizens on sustainable construction issues,” a message explains.
The project was developed by a partnership that includes Enea, the Municipality of Agnone and DITNE (National Energy Technology District) from Italy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the Barleti Institute for Research and Development (BIRD) from Albania and the University of Architecture of Podgorica which represented Montenegro.
