Emilia Romagna aims at gas for LPT
Call worth € 212 million for 372 new buses
Emilia Romagna aims gas for sustainable public transport.
The Region actually allocates over 212 million euros for renewing the bus fleet owned by the
regional transport company TPER, focusing in particular on gas supplies. A call published today in
the European Official Journal provides for the supply of 372 buses, of which 350 are methane, LNG
hybrid and non-hybrid vehicles.
The call (available in attachment) is divided into nine lots, all with spare parts option and
concerns vehicles for local public transport powered by CNG, LNG and hybrid engines.
The deadline to submit the bids is March 15, 2021.
