SMEs, Tuscany call for digitization
€ 100 million available also for blockchain, artificial intelligence and IoT
The Tuscany Region has launched a call for the digitization of micro, small and medium-sized
enterprises. Companies may count on 100 million euros made available as an incentive to favor the
technological and digital transformation of production processes. The endowment has been granted
under the Digital Transformation Fund established pursuant to the “Growth” Decree, promoted by the
MoED and managed by Invitalia, explains the Region.
The concessions are aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, applying also
jointly, in which a so-called “Digital Innovation Hub” (DID) or “a digital ecosystem for innovation”
is as the leading promoter.
The projects must include an expense of not less than € 50,000 and not more than € 500,000.
The projects eligible for financing are those, among others, that aim at the technological and
digital transformation of production processes through technologies identified by the National
Business Plan 4.0, fintech, electronic systems for data exchange, geolocation, integration of
systems applied to process automation, can be financed, blockchain, artificial intelligence and IoT
(Internet of Things).
