Transitgas, North-South and South-North monthly auction
On offer a total of 8,940 MWh/h, of which 6,540 MWh/h in reverse flow
New monthly firm capacity auction on the Transitgas pipeline in both the North-South and
South-North routes, totaling 8,940 MWh/h with delivery in February.
In further detail, FluxSwiss offers on a ship or pay basis standard and flexible reverse-flow products in the North-South direction for a total of 6,540 MWh/h: 74 lots of 30 MWh/h each for 2,220 MWh/h from Passo Gries to Wallbach (Italy-Germany), 67 lots of similar capacity for 2,010 MWh/h from Passo Gries to Oltingue (Italy-France) and 77 lots for 2,310 MWh/h of flexible capacity from Passo Gries to Wallbach or Oltingue.
The booking price is 0.50 Swiss francs per MWh in the first case, 0.50 CHF/MWh in the second and 0.55 CHF/MWh in the third.
As for the transfer of transmission capacity on the trans-Swiss gas pipeline on both North and South routes, in the period of February 1-28, 2021 a total of 2,400 MWh/h are offered, also on a “ship or pay” basis: 69 lots for a total of 2,070 MWh/h from Wallbach to Passo Gries and 11 lots for 330 MWh/h from Oltingue to Passo Gries, with reserve prices of 0.80 and 0.85 CHF/ MWh, respectively.
The allocation procedure envisages submitting of the applications for participation by January 13 and the auctions are scheduled to take place two days later.
