Transition, Lazio towards a regional plan

Call for expressions of interest for ideas and projects

After the establishment of the Department for Ecological Transition and Digital Transformation, the Lazio Region has now launched the elaboration of a Plan with the aim of “stimulating Ecological Transition through a use of financial resources consistent with the skills and needs present in the area.”
A message explains that the involvement of all public and private stakeholders is essential for the development of the Plan. Therefore, on November 22 a call for proposals was opened in order to identify priorities for action and project proposals related to the issues of ecological transition. At a later stage they may be supported by financial resources under the regional joint planning 2021-2027.
The call, which provides for the submission of feedback by January 17, 2022, “starts the process of drafting of the Regional Plan for Ecological Transition, which will show us how to best invest the resources made available under the new European planning, being also consistent with the opportunities offered by the NTRP,” said Councilor for Ecological Transition and Digital Transformation, Roberta Lombardi.
“We would like to collect and listen to proposals, ideas and input from public and private entities that will help us take off on a journey of change that we have just embarked on, a path that thanks to the funds coming from Europe we will be able to complete with greater speed,” President of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti.
