Teleriscaldamento, via al portale Gse per gli incentivi

District heating, go to GSE portal for incentives

NRRP funds available for €200 million, target 330 km of networks and 360 MW from waste heat recovery

The GSE (state-owned company which manages renewable energy incentives, Gestore dei Servizi Energetici) has rolled out a portal on its website to manage applications of the stakeholders that would like to access incentives under the NRRP for the development of efficient district heating systems. Indeed, the Ministry of Ecological Transition has published a call for the submission of projects.
The GSE will provide technical and operational support in managing applications to access the funding, which amounts to 200 million euros and is earmarked for new district heating systems.
The deadline to submit applications is October 6.
The facilities, the Operator reminds, are intended for entities wishing to build a new district heating/cooling network or a thermal or cooling power plant, but also for anyone already operating a network or power plant. Facilities under the decree will be granted through a ranking evaluation procedure.
The public notice, published on the MoET’s website, referring to NRRP Investment 3.1 (M2C3), aims to develop 330 km of efficient district heating networks and build 360 MW of waste heat recovery plants or connections.
