Snam is on the podium of the best companies in online communication of sustainability
Snam is the third best Italian company in online communication of Corporate Social Responsibility. It is the result of the sixth edition of the CSR Online Awards Italy, whose results have been disclosed in a ceremony held yesterday evening at Palazzo Visconti in Milan.
In the ranking filed by Lundquist, one of the most reliable consulting firms in online communications, which analyzed the performance in terms of stakeholder engagement and transparent information of the 100 largest Italian companies, Snam has received the third prize in recognition of the Group’s commitment to communicate in a proactive and user-friendly way all its activities related to sustainability and, more generally, to corporate social responsibility: from the engagement of stakeholders in the activities undertaken to the strict policy on safety and prevention, from its best practices to protect the environment to shared value the projects, to the capillary and transparent reporting of its different businesses.
All of this is told in a website – as the citation of the award recognizes - which "offers a high-quality and user-friendly navigation that supports stakeholders in exploring the exhaustive information on key sustainability topics. Particularly successful is the presentation of the “ Stories from the Regions�? section showcasing environmental and social projects with the support of illustrative photos and videos." A complementary tool next to the website for an effective online communication, the "social hub" of Snam, with 6 active channels (Twitter , YouTube , LinkedIn , Flickr , Instagram, Google+ ), also allowed Snam to gain in only one year three positions in the rankings, jumping up from sixth to third place in the ranking.
