Snam Rete Gas Shippers' Day

San Donato Milanese, 18 May 2016 – The fourth edition of the Shippers’ Day, dedicated to clients of the transportation service and operators trading at the so-called Punto di Scambio Virtuale (Virtual Trading Point), was opened today by Snam Rete Gas CEO Paolo Mosa. The event is attended by more than 170 participants representing over 80 companies.

During the event, which also hosted a speech by the General Director of CIG (Italian Gas Committee) Michele Ronchi on the evolution of technical regulation in the fuel gas sector, the challenges that the gas market will face as a result of the increasing harmonization of rules within the European market, with particular reference to access and commercial balancing rules, have been discussed.

Amongst other topics, the evolution of the commercial offer during last year, the new market scenario regarding biomethane and the upgrading of the gas measurement process have been discussed, and the results of the latest customer satisfaction survey carried out by the Company in October 2015 were also presented, with a participation rate of over 83%, with the aim of constantly improving the quality of services provided, now including also the new portal myg@sview.

The initiative is part of the stakeholder engagement activities regularly carried out by Snam Rete Gas. Both the annual Shippers' Day and the various workshops reflect the Company’s commitment to share the Group’s values and strategies with its stakeholders, increasingly promoting dialogue and mutual growth.
