Snam awarded as “company promoting health” by local health agencies of Milan and Bergamo

Snam has been confirmed, for the third year in a row, in the WHP (Workplace Health Promotion) program promoted by Lombardy Region to foster health-related good practices at the workplace. The acknowledgement of Snam as “company promoting health” was announced during two ceremonies held by the local health agencies of the Metropolitan City of Milan and Bergamo, which were attended by several companies adhering to the project.

The award ceremony by the local health agency of the Metropolitan City of Milan took place today at the University of Milan in presence of the General Director of the agency, Marco Bosio. This year, Snam’s good practices focused on combating smoking and promoting physical activity.

The WHP program acts as a support for companies willing to invest in the well-being of their employees, following the principles of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work. The project aims to create a network of companies that commit to good practices related to the promotion of health among employees, with certifications from experts of the local health agencies, the Lombardy Region and the Ministry of Health.
