Snam wins the Italian Webranking by Comprend 2016

Snam is the best Italian company for corporate and financial digital communication. In the Italian Webranking 2016, provided by Lundquist in collaboration with Comprend, Snam achieved 93.6 out of 100 points. It is the highest score ever in the 15-years-history of Webranking.

Snam CEO, Marco Alverà, received the award during the 15th annual seminar on digital corporate communications organized by Lundquist at Corriere della Sera headquarters in Milan.

The first place rewards Snam’s attention for digital communication that "not only provides detailed information about the company, business, strategy, governance and sustainability, but has been able to create a distinctive communication and goes far beyond the level of transparency of other companies". The web pages are clear, complete and constantly updated. The responsive design of Snam.it , launched few months ago, which makes the website content available from any device, was key to reach the first place.

A pro-active use of the most important social networks, as well as improvements on core issues areas such as ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, were acknowledged. In fact, Snam is committed to an ethical business conduct, regarded as a driver of sustainable growth - which is also reflected in a transparent, interactive and constant communication with stakeholders.

All these elements boosted Snam’s score from 85.9 to 93.6 points, one of the most significant improvements of the Webranking.

Now in its fifteenth year, the Italian Webranking sees the participation of over 100 of the most important Italian listed companies. In the last decade Snam not only steadily reached top ten, but also achieved a second, a third place and a best improver title between 2014 and 2015.
