Gold medal in CSR web communication
Snam tops also the Corporate Social Responsibility digital communication ranking in Italy, as acknowledged by the CSR Online Awards international research by Lundquist. The result has been achieved thanks to a distinctive digital communication strategy, an accurate use of social media, and a continuous commitment in telling initiatives on social responsibility.
The " Stories from the regions" section has been named as one of the most important elements of Snam’s digital communication. This features pages, posts and insights about the actions carried out in the communities where Snam operates, including photos, videos and social media integration on major platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Since 2008, CSR Online Awards is the first European research assessing how companies communicate their sustainability and involve stakeholders on digital platforms. The study evaluates the communication based on seven criteria - concrete, exhaustive, user-friendly, ongoing, social, integrated, distinctive. In each pillar Snam scored excellent results, thus making an important leap forward in the ranking, going from 61 points and third place in the previous edition to 74.25 points and gold medal in 2017.
This result is in addition to the first place in corporate digital communication achieved in the previous months both in the Italian and European rankings with the highest score ever obtained in the study.
