Marco Alverà talks about the future with 100 young “Future Makers”

The CEO of Snam, Marco Alverà, was one of the main guests at the fourth edition of “The Future Makers”, a training initiative organized in Milan by BCG (Boston Consulting Group) with 100 of Italy’s top young talents between the ages of 23 and 26.

“The future belongs to those who can imagine it,” said Snam’s founder, Enrico Mattei. Alverà spoke about both the future and business with the 100 young men and women, who came from all over Italy. In his speech to the “Future Makers”, Alverà spoke about the increasing importance of companies setting themselves a short and long-term “purpose” or goal, to generate tangible value for all stakeholders, and for society as a whole.

To illustrate this, he discussed Snam’s evolution towards energy transition through both the Snamtec project, which will invest €850 million in sustainable business and innovation until 2022, and through Fondazione Snam’s social development initiatives.

To conclude, Alverà spoke about ways in which the world of work is changing, and the challenges and opportunities facing next generations.
