Coronavirus: Snam offers “Smart Working” for employees in four regions
Employee health and safety is the company’s top priority
In response to the coronavirus - COVID-19 outbreak, Snam has decided to allow all employees living and working in Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Piedmont, and Veneto to work from home as a precautionary measure. These employees will be “Smart Working” from home for the whole week, with some exceptions where necessary to ensure that the company operates as normal.
Employees living in areas that are subject to regulations from public authorities will be allowed to “Smart Work” or be given paid leave as necessary.
Last Friday, Snam also launched an inter-departmental team to communicate with public authorities, keep up to date with the situation as it evolves, and provide information and support to all employees, whose health and safety are a top priority for the company.
