Snam presents the podcast 'Zhero. The secret of water'
A story for children about the climate challenge read by Cristiana Capotondi
Snam presents the podcast 'Zhero. Il segreto dell'acqua' (Zhero. The secret of water), available today on all the main listening platforms (Spotify, Spreaker, Google Podcast, Apple Podcast) and on snam.it.
The first fiction podcast to be created by a company in Italy, 'Zhero' is inspired by the children's book of the same name by Snam's CEO, Marco Alverà, published by Salani.
The three episodes, narrated by Cristiana Capotondi and written by Iole Masucci, are aimed at children and parents and revolve around the themes of climate change, environmental sustainability and scientific and technological innovation. According to Cristiana Capotondi, 'The story is set in the magical and enchanted atmosphere of Venice, where the three young heroes Giada, Serafina and Michele are involved in an exciting race against time to solve a mystery on which the future of humanity depends'.
The project, launched during the month of COP26, aims to raise awareness of the energy transition by explaining the environmental benefits of green hydrogen produced by electrolysis of water from renewable sources, and to encourage the study of STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) among young people, particularly girls.
The 'Zhero' podcast, produced for Snam by Sirene Records, edited by Virginia Valsecchi and in collaboration with DOING (Capgemini Group), will also be released in English on 30 November.
