High School for ecological and digital transition
The four-year high school dedicated to ecological and digital transition for future-oriented teaching has been established.
The High School for Ecological and Digital Transition ("TRED High School") is a programme based on a new concept in terms of method and content, developed over four years, which aims to integrate the knowledge of the traditional Italian high school into a single teaching programme with new technological skills in order to live two of the most important challenges of our times as protagonists: ecological and digital transition.
In addition to classroom lessons, there are weekly workshops with experts on highly specialised topics, summer camps, internships and stays abroad organised with the support of international networks made available by the companies participating in the project.
In addition, the experimentation provides for a future-oriented teaching method, with the individual school being included in a network of cooperation between schools participating in the project, universities and companies.
The course of study leads to a school-leaving certificate in Applied Sciences and is recognised by all Italian and foreign universities.
The project is part of the plan for 1,000 new four-year classes launched by the Ministry of Education and was created on the initiative of Consel, a consortium of more than 100 large groups and companies from the ELIS training body.
